Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson Officially Files for Re-Election
A message from Mayor Johnson’s Campaign Treasurer, 2X Super Bowl Champion, Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor Member, and Pro Football Hall of Fame Member, Mel Renfro
Our friend, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, has officially filed for re-election to continue serving as Mayor of Dallas. I could not be more proud of him, and Dallas could not have a better mayor.
Mayor Johnson, First Lady of Dallas, Nikki Johnson, and their two sons, William and George, celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the city’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade
Over the past four years, Mayor Johnson, a Dallas native, has admirably led our city through a global pandemic, multiple tornadoes, devastating winter storms, a surge in violent crime, civil unrest, and other seemingly impossible challenges. His strong leadership and problem-solving skills helped our city bounce back and lead the nation in economic recovery.
Among his numerous accomplishments over the last four years of service to our city, Mayor Johnson lowered violent crime two years in a row by putting hundreds more police officers on our streets, overhauled our city’s ethics code to root out corruption at Dallas City Hall, reduced our city’s property tax rate to ease the burden on residents, and added an unprecedented number of jobs to our city through his pro-growth policies and efforts to attract major national corporations, including Fortune 500 companies, to Dallas.
Dallas is a stronger city now than it was four years ago thanks to Mayor Johnson’s leadership.
Mayor Johnson has earned a second term, and I hope you will join me in supporting him by making a contribution to his re-election campaign.
Winning the race for mayor of the ninth-largest city in the country is no small feat. Mayor Johnson’s campaign needs resources, and every dollar helps. Please consider making a contribution TODAY.
